About the Role & Team
As a Licensing Sales Manager at Disney, you will drive strategic growth by planning and executing long-term and fiscal strategies. You will manage existing accounts, evaluate licensee performance, and implement rationalization plans to support effective business management and growth across categories. Your role involves identifying, pitching, and securing new licensees to enhance category expansion.
Building and maintaining strong relationships is essential. You will actively manage engagement and partnerships with accounts, negotiate regional contracts, and foster strategic growth in licensing sales within the EMEA region. Your creativity and commercial acumen will be vital in product development, leveraging digital, social, and physical marketing channels. Staying ahead of trends and consumer insights will enable you to develop effective strategies and seize new opportunities. This role is based in our London office in Hammersmith, working four days a week.
What You Will Do
* Collaborate with senior management to implement departmental strategies, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
* Utilize market trends, insights, and consumer feedback to develop and execute effective strategies across departments.
* Manage the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts, setting objectives for licensees, and working with cross-functional teams to drive growth.
* Build and nurture relationships with EMEA accounts through engagement, partnership, and joint planning.
* Negotiate contracts and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
* Coordinate with creative and marketing teams to support product development and promotion.
* Act as a liaison for the International Labour Standards (ILS) process between suppliers and Disney.
* Lead new business pitches and research projects to identify scalable opportunities.
* Participate in market meetings and share best practices with international teams.
* Maintain regular communication with Disney market teams to address local needs and share updates.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in fashion buying, product development, merchandising, or commercial fashion sales.
* Manager-level experience in a commercial role within the sports sector, FMCG, or consumer technology sectors.
* Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
* Experience in consumer products and building effective relationships across departments.
* Proven leadership in team development and change management.
