The role is working within the Merchandising Team, looking at forecast sales targets, current inventory and identifying forward stock requirements across a number of product ranges. Working closely with supply chain colleagues to manage lead times and action relevant procurements. Identify issues with availability on volume stock lines and look to minimise out of stock issues. Focus on minimizing the impact of any stock outs on customer orders. Key Responsibilities: Managing KPI’s within the area – Availability 95% / Aged stock. Analise sales data and school preferences to forecast demand and plan inventory levels. Create the forecast and buy for New schools. Manage the Orderbook in conjunction with the Supply Chain team, highlighting any potential issues. Analise reports, identifying buy requirements. Maintain accurate records of inventory, procurement, and sales performance. Major interface with supply chain and customer Services. Skills, experience and education requirements: Experience of working with Microsoft office and particularly good excel skills. Experience working with Power BI desirable but not essential Currently working as Merchandiser, Junior Merchandiser or demand planner. Familiar with working in team environments High level of numerate accuracy. Strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively throughout the business, and across different levels in the business.
