This is a temporary (3 month), full-time position based at our site in Crumlin.
Role Overview:
The Production Technician is responsible for the manufacture and purification of protein
Role Requirements
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. To support (and lead where applicable)in the Production of products. .
2. Ensuring batch record completion is performed in real time and accurate.
3. Perform standard laboratory duties such as glassware cleaning
4. Supporting production team members where necessary
5. Preparation of buffers and reagents used within the production department.
6. Calibration, service and maintenance of key laboratory equipment.
7. Operation of key laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, incubators, rollers
8. Compliance with BBI’s quality system requirements
9. Completion of daily cleaning checks
10. Responsible for completing and maintaining individual training records
11. Adherence to all SOPs, PSBRs, EOPs, SMPs and relevant documents
12. Adhering to all Health and Safety regulations
13. In process testing of manufactured products if applicable.
14. Meet daily production targets/ KPI’s
15. Conducting stock checks for chemicals, cleaning products, and consumables and ordering materials as and when required
16. Completion of workload within BBI’s quality system
17. Identify continuous improvement opportunities
18. Understanding of accepted behaviour in audit situations
