Role: Workday Financials Accounting Center Lead
Location: Europe
Career Level: Manager
As a Workday Financials Accounting Center Lead:
* Lead and participate in all Workday Accounting Center implementation lifecycle phases, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
* Support at least one implementation project as functional Accounting Center Lead.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, translate them into Workday configurations, and provide expert advice on best practices.
* Configure Workday modules to meet business requirements related to financial accounting processes.
* Identify strategies, risks, and options and recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client/functional requirements.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, such as finance, IT, and project management, to ensure seamless integration of financial accounting processes with other modules and systems.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance their skills and capabilities.
* Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices
Qualification
* Workday Certification in Accounting Center. Additional Workday Certifications are considered an advantage.
* Strong finance transformation track record.
* Experience from several full‑cycle Workday implementations.
* Strong understanding of Financial Accounting processes and best practices.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems).
* Fluency in English.
* Ability to meet client travel requirements as needed and efficiently manage a virtual team and client interactions.
* Thrive in a diverse, dynamic environment.
* Think analytically and effectively apply logic to solve problems.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines despite conflicting demands.
* Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements.
* Strong desire to work with clients and provide exceptional client experiences.
