Location:
Wellington, Somerset, TA21 9AD - Site based
Hours:
40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary:
From £27,976 plus overtime, call out, and standby

Your Responsibilities
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in our highways maintenance team. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Responding to highway defects within designated timescales, including installing and removing emergency traffic management signage.
* Delivering minor improvement works to enhance the Somerset network.
* Using tablet devices to provide accurate records of works and incidents.
* Operating a variety of plant and equipment safely and effectively.
* Promoting customer care by working closely with colleagues and interacting politely with clients and the general public.
