Your Responsibilities will be to: Deliver 1:1 or small group support tailored to the medical and learning needs of students. Assist with personal care, medical routines, and mobility needs where appropriate. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and health professionals. Promote independence, safety, and well-being in the classroom and wider school environment. Support emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies. Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to safeguarding protocols. What We’re Looking For: Experience in an educational, care, or healthcare support setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of working with children or young people with SEN or complex needs. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond empathetically to student needs. Relevant healthcare training (e.g., first aid, manual handling) is advantageous but not essential. Flexibility, patience, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
