Job Description
3. Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
4. Proactively chase overdue accounts and resolve outstanding payment issues.
5. Maintain accurate records of credit control activities and customer interactions.
6. Generate and distribute regular statements and reports for internal stakeholders.
7. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address account discrepancies.
8. Assess and mitigate credit risks by analysing customer creditworthiness.
9. Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Credit Controller will have:
11. Previous experience in credit control or a related accounting function.
12. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
13. Confidence in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
14. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
15. The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
16. An understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
