Accounts Assistant with a focus on accounts payable, 9 day fortnight / Hybrid / Flexi working Accounts Assistant Full-time & Permanent £25-27,000 (the equivalent of £14.83 per hour) Swansea This is an opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger professional to join a well-established and high-performing team! The role is 90% AP, but this is not Clerk work…… I need someone with good exposure to balance sheets, profit and loss reporting as well as accruals, prepayments and journals. They employ a rigorous 3-way match process, so exposure to PO numbers and queries would be great. You will need intermediate Excel skills…… a proficiency with spreadsheets and more if possible. They will consider study support for AAT level 4 (would ideally like you to have done AAT3 already) or even for ACCA if you feel inclined. A key benefit of this role is the work pattern; the flex time will allow you to accrue extra days to add to your already generous annual leave (essentially, it works out as a 9-day fortnight if you want to look at it slightly differently) or you can work a hybrid pattern; but office presence is essential; you will not be able to work remotely.
