About the role
We are looking to appoint a innovative, forward thinking qualified or newly qualified teacher to join our team at Forest Way Special School from 20 August 2025, but we would consider applicants to start after Christmas. We place our students at the heart of all our decision making and have the highest You’ll have an enthusiasm for supporting learners with differentiated needs, managing sometimes complex behaviours within a structured learning environment to ensure differently-abled learners can reach their full potential.
Requirements
1. Qualified Teacher Status
2. Passion and commitment for supporting learners with specific needs
3. An empathetic, patient and tolerant demeanour
4. Key organisation and communication skills
5. Experience with managing complex behaviours and helping SEN learners to achieve
