As part of this transformation, NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) have joined to form a new organisation: Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland). This new organisation will play a pivotal role in supporting the renewal and ensuring the long-term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland.

Who We Are
PSD Scotland unites expertise from NES and NSS in a way that will allow us to accelerate national programmes to support the NHS to deliver better care, now and in the future.
We support staff with education and training, provide the tools and data that improve services, and run vital national functions such as procurement, logistics and blood, tissue and cell services.
The Pharmacy team within Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) has national responsibility for the commissioning, quality assurance and delivery of postgraduate pharmacy education and training in Scotland. The team are accountable through the Executive Medical Director to the PSD Scotland Board, and through the Board to the Scottish Government. PSD Scotland Pharmacy provides strategic leadership across all sectors, working with health boards, community pharmacy, universities, regulators and national partners to ensure education and training meet workforce, service and regulatory requirements, in line with standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
The Opportunity
Building on the success of previous cohorts, PSD Scotland is offering a career development opportunity to a senior Pharmacy Technician (who iscurrently working at Agenda for Change Band 7/8a or equivalent) currently working in, and committed to, NHS Scotland to become the next Scottish Pharmacy Technician Clinical Leadership Fellow (SPTCLF). This includes working in the Community Pharmacy Sector.
This opportunity is designed to strengthen future pharmacytechnicianleadership by developing the skills of individuals at a national strategic level with support from NHS Scotland Pharmacy leaders. This post is an excellent opportunity for a senior Pharmacy Technician to expand their national leadership experience and develop their skills, whilstmaintaininglinks to their current service.
Working with NHS Scotland Pharmacy leaders, as well as other key strategic groups and organisations within NHS Scotland and the profession, the SPTCLF will be involved in taking forward a project aligned to Scottish Government strategy and key policy areas such as the Health & Social Care Service Renewal Framework 2025-2035. The project area will beallocatedon appointment in collaboration with the successful candidate.
