Description
* Prepare and consolidate group financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS / UK GAAP
* Lead on month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes across the group
* Manage group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
* Support the preparation of half-year and annual reports for senior stakeholders
* Oversee and review statutory accounts for subsidiary entities
* Partner with and provide support to subsidiary finance teams, ensuring alignment with group reporting requirements
* Assist with the group audit process, acting as a key contact for external auditors
* Monitor and analyse group financial performance, providing insights and recommendations
* Maintain and enhance financial controls, policies and compliance across the group
* Contribute to continuous improvements within the group finance function
Profile
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
* Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
* Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements within a multi-entity environment
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage and build relationships with a range of stakeholders, including senior management and subsidiary finance teams
Job Offer
* A competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
