What Youll Do
As anHV Cable Jointer, youll:
* Carry out cable preparation, installation, terminations and joints at11kV, 33kV, and above onrenewable energyand electrical infrastructure projects
* Support electricians and other trades on largerinstallations, includingearthingand associated site activities
* Takeresponsibilityas Installation Lead on relevant projects, reporting into the Site Manager and Project Manager on progress and safe delivery
* Assist SAPs and Commissioning Engineers withcable testing, commissioning and energisation activities during project delivery
* Mentorless experienced staff and apprentices, helping develop their skills while maintaining high standards of workmanship and tidiness

What Were Looking For Cable Jointing / HV Installation
* JIB approvedECS cardand experienceworking safelyonconstruction sites
* Strong practical experience in cable preparation, installation, containment, earthing and associatedHV site works
* Experience of carrying out cable terminations / joints at33kVwithin the electrical power, commercial or industrial sector
* Minimum3 years experienceas a Jointer with a clear understanding of site standards andsafesystems of work
* Able toplan ahead, follow business processes and manage multiple time-pressured tasks while maintaining quality and tidiness
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail and aproactive, team-focused approach to problem solving on site
* FullUK driving licence, Right to Work in the UK, and flexibility to travel and stay away regularly for project work
