We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Desk Based Account Manager to join our Manchester team. In this role, you’ll re-engage with dormant or unmanaged accounts, uncover new opportunities, and build strong, lasting partnerships. You’ll play a key part in guiding businesses through the PSTN/ISDN switch-off, helping them transition to modern, scalable solutions in connectivity, VoIP, cloud, and security.
Key Responsibilities
* Reconnect with dormant or unmanaged accounts, building trust and long-term relationships
* Identify opportunities for product sales and upselling across our portfolio
* Educate clients on the PSTN switch-off, positioning us as their trusted migration partner
* Deliver tailored solutions in connectivity, VoIP, cloud, and cyber security
* Present proposals, negotiate deals, and close business confidently
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support
What We’re Looking For
* Proven account management experience (ideally in tech or telecoms)
* Strong sales and solution-based selling skills
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
* Proactive, positive, and quick-thinking mindset
* Skilled negotiator and problem-solver
* Comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously
* Tech-savvy with CRM systems and sales tools
