Overview
To deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or medical treatment. The post holders will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs, and implementation and evaluation of the programme of the care. The post holders are required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of nursing care within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
* On-going learning and development, providing clearly structured career pathways in preparation towards specialist or managerial roles.
* Work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of nursing care within SWFT.
* Be allocated to areas on arrival for each shift, with opportunities to work across a variety of departments, including: Clinical Decisions Unit; A&E waiting room; additional inpatient areas opened for winter pressures; medical and surgical wards.
Contract details and opportunities
* We are offering 4-month temporary contracts (December to March) to provide vital support during our busiest period.
* Hours available: 24 - 34.5 hour contracts. You will have the option to join the Bank for additional shifts, with the potential to stay on after the 4-month contract ends.
* Nurses will be allocated to areas on arrival for each shift, with opportunities to work across a variety of departments, including the areas listed above.
Requirements
* Applicants must be experienced registered nurses who have completed their preceptorship.
