Our client, a leading financial services institution in the heart of the City, is embarking on a strategic transformation programme to modernise its core platforms. They are seeking an experienced Temenos OR Avaloq Business Analyst to support the delivery of a large-scale SaaS implementation and migration initiative.
This is a hands-on, business-facing role working closely with technology vendors, business stakeholders, and integration teams to deliver a best-in-class digital banking solution.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the bridge between business users, technology teams, and the Temenos vendor to capture, validate, and manage business and functional requirements.
Support the SaaS implementation of Temenos OR Avaloq (or similar core banking platforms) and coordinate vendor-led delivery streams.
Facilitate workshops with wealth and private banking stakeholders to document end-to-end business processes and identify key transformation opportunities.
Collaborate with integration and data teams to support data migration, API integrations, and interface mapping activities.
Assist in defining test scenarios, UAT planning, and validation of system functionality against business requirements.
Work closely with project managers, architects, and delivery leads to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Support the migration from on-premise to SaaS environments, ensuring minimal business disruption and compliance with data governance standards.
Ideal Background & Experience
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in core banking or wealth/private banking transformations.
Hands-on experience with Temenos, Avaloq, or similar vendor-led SaaS platforms.
Solid understanding of SaaS delivery models and experience collaborating with vendor delivery teams.
Prior exposure to wealth or private banking processes such as client onboarding, portfolio management, payments, and regulatory reporting.
Experience supporting on-prem to SaaS migration projects.
Familiarity with Salesforce, financial planning tools, or data integration/migration initiatives (highly desirable).
Strong integration knowledge – Backbase experience not required, but proven capability in managing multi-system interfaces is essential.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
