This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Physics Engineer who is looking to progress to a Senior level by joining one of the North West’s top engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will be exposed to and given the opportunity to lead on a variety of multidisciplined projects and join their building performance team in Manchester.
The responsibilities for a Senior Building Physics Engineer will include:
* Provide building energy consumption and embodied carbon services across all stages of their projects
* Be a key figure in spreading the clients’ key values at meetings and professional network conventions
* Identify and obtain opportunities for the client to enhance personal career development and enhancement
* Mentor the more junior members of the team and help nurture their career development
The ideal Senior Building Physics Engineer:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Building Physics or Sustainability engineering role
* Proficient in industry relevant software such as IES-VE to carry out energy modelling
* Educational background within a sustainability, architectural, or engineering discipline
* Ideally be an accredited NABERS Assessor and have a CIBSE accreditation
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
