Accounts AssistantNigel Wright are currently supporting a Newcastle based organisation with their Accounts Assistant requirement. This is 6 month fixed term contract, with the chance of being extended. The RoleAs Accounts Assistant, your role will involve:
* Managing financial returns and ensuring timely, accurate submission of data from multiple stakeholders
* Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations
* Handling income and expenditure reporting
* Assisting with month-end tasks
* Responding to queries and providing guidance to internal and external contacts
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required

* Experience in a similar role
* Strong attention to detail
* Good communication and relationship-building skills
* Comfort working with data and deadlines
* Experience with accounting systems and Excel
