Description Accounts Payable Clerk Process high-volume supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorisation Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs (BACS) Maintain accounts payable ledgers and vendor records Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries promptly Assist with month-end close including accruals and reporting Support with audit requirements and provide documentation as needed Profile A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have: Studying toward AAT or strong experience Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP, or similar ERP systems) Strong Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables desirable) High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under pressure Job Offer An estimated salary range of £27,000 - £30,000 per annum Opportunity to work in a rewarding role within the manufacturing and production industry A positive and professional work culture that values teamwork and integrity Generous holiday leave and benefits We encourage all candidates who are looking for a challenging and rewarding role to apply.
