This establishment offers an inclusive and rewarding environment. Its dedicated teaching staff, supported by a strong multi-disciplinary team (including speech and language, occupational, and physiotherapy, and special school nurses), provide a highly personalised and creative curriculum, encouraging all students to achieve their full potential.

The Role: Empowering Every Student

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be instrumental in creating a positive and engaging learning experience. You will:

* Provide individualised care and learning support to students, acting as a Pupil Champion for their academic, social, emotional, and personal care needs.
* Collaborate with staff and therapists to deliver a highly personalised curriculum.
* Foster an inclusive community where students feel happy and supported.
* Contribute to an environment that encourages all students to achieve their full potential and makes learning exciting and accessible.

What We're Looking For:

* A genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs, especially those with autism, and a desire to make a real impact.
* An empathetic, understanding, and patient approach.
* A collaborative team player, eager to work alongside teachers and therapists.
* A proactive learner, keen to develop new skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 2/Grade C or above).
* A strong understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
* Access to your own transport.

Why Join This Team?

* Meaningful Impact: Help students, including those with autism, thrive.
* Supportive Environment: Work in an incredibly positive setting with a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team.
* Career Development: Access fully funded training and qualification opportunities, including RQF CACHE courses (Levels 2, 3 & 4) and opportunities to complete Maths and English GCSEs. Support for those interested in a teaching career is also provided.
* Work-Life Balance: Enjoy flexible, term-time only contracts.
* Competitive Pay: £88.92 - £100 per day.
* Comprehensive Benefits: Thorough Induction Training (covering autism, Behaviour Analysis, Safeguarding, Emergency Medication, Behaviour Management, and Personal/Intimate Care), free uniform and DBS check, company pension scheme, and staff well-being facilities.
* Join a welcoming community in the heart of Burgess Hill.
