We are looking for an Operations Manager to join us at Huws Gray Oxford!

We’re the Huws Gray Group and we’re made up of a number of brands, including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI and Anglia Tool Centre to name a few. We rely on our Operations Managers to assist the management team to ensure that monthly and annual targets are met and exceeded. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Here’s a Quick Overview Of Some Of The Things You Can Expect To Do As a Operations Manager With Huws Gray
* Supervise and lead the yard operations team, responsible for completing operational tasks in an efficient manner.
* Ensure compliance in all areas of H&S on site.
* Oversee Transport & Huws Gray portal tasks.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external contacts.
* Direct and monitor employees’ work, including resource allocation and level of performance.
* Create and implement schedules and work instructions for the yard operations team.
* Monitor & evaluate team performance and manage day-to-day activities of team.
* Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
* Integrate with operations team and other team members to develop and maintain an effective and efficient operational structure, including process improvements.
* Oversee operations, including work allocation, site management, setting and communicating objectives, ensuring quality standards are met, and resolving problems.
* Assisting where required in the daily logistical planning.
* Monitor housekeeping and maintenance of facilities around the site are kept at an acceptable level, ensuring action where required is carried out.
