Bodyshop Technician Vacancy - Northampton
1. Position: Bodyshop Technician
2. Location: Northampton
3. Basic Salary: £40,000
4. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
5. No Weekends
6. Overtime Available
Our client is a respected bodyshop that specialises in high-quality vehicle repairs. Known for its professional yet relaxed atmosphere, this bodyshop offers a supportive and friendly working environment where technicians can thrive.
Key Responsibilities as a Bodyshop Technician:
7. Undertake light panel repairs and replacements, ensuring a high standard of workmanship on a range of vehicle makes and models.
8. Perform meticulous paintwork, including prep, priming, and finishing, using the latest techniques and equipment to achieve flawless results.
9. Carry out thorough inspections on vehicles to assess damage and determine the necessary repair work.
10. Ensure all repairs meet the bodyshop’s exacting standards and that vehicles are returned to customers in pristine condition.
11. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.
Requirements needed for the Bodyshop Technician role:
12. Proven experience as a Bodyshop Technician, with a solid background in light panel work and painting.
13. A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality repairs.
14. Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
15. Strong communication skills and a professional approach to work.
16. A full UK driving licence.
