We have an opportunity available within Aberdeenshire Kincardine & Mearns cluster covering GP practices & Community Hospital in Inverbervie, Laurencekirk, Portlethen & Stonehaven. Part Time (3 days, 21.6h/week) Monday Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacist to join the Pharmacotherapy teams working across Aberdeenshire. The post holder will join a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and be key to the ongoing provision of the pharmacotherapy service and promoting quality, cost‑effective prescribing of medicines.
The post holder will:
* Support GP practices and community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management in line with local and national guidelines.
Key qualifications and experience:
* Community or hospital pharmacy background.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
* Experience working within Primary Care, medicines management and audit is advantageous.
* Independent Prescriber qualification is an advantage.
Working conditions:
* Onsite working in GP Practices and / or remote working from an agreed base within the HSCP cluster area.
* Full driving licence essential.
