We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for the day to day running of N2O's warehouse & logistics operation based in Colnbrook, Berkshire. The role will be to ensure high performing operational delivery by managing processes, ensuring the safe storage and delivery of stock and developing staff.
The Warehouse Manager needs to be able to create and hold a strong relationship with key stakeholders throughout the company and have the responsibility to to oversee the development and maintenance of the N2O logistics & warehouse facilities, including strategizing for future capacity needs, and offering insights into upcoming trends and developments.
Core Activities include:
* Liaising with fellow Logistics and Warehouse Managers, Campaign Managers, Field Support Managers, suppliers and transport companies in order to ensure the efficient and effective fulfillment of campaigns.
* Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods and ensuring that N2O's logistics operation is both consistent and transparent and in alignment with all over sites.
* Efficient utilisation of space and mechanical handling equipment, ensuring quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met.
* Deputise for the Logistics Director as and when required
* Planning and analysing budgets and expenditures.
* Negotiating and setting up contracts with third party suppliers
* Ensuring the timely response and resolution of queries and complaints
* Keeping the stock management system up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy.
* Organising the recruitment of staff as well as coaching, developing and monitoring staff performance
* Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met.
* As a Line Manager you will be expected to provide professional leadership and line management to your team which will include recruitment, coaching & development and monitoring of staff performance against set goals etc.
* Providing reports and statistics on a regular basis
* Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

* Demonstrable experience of overseeing a small/medium sized logistics and warehouse operation either in a managerial or senior supervisory role where there has been a varied level of job complexity with regards to job type, nature or goods and timelines.
* Excellent ability to define processes and to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Good leadership and people management skills including the ability to lead and motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas.
* Good Planning and organising skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Good communication (oral and written) and numerical skills.
* Able to work collaboratively with internal departments to develop relationships and manage expectations.
* Good Technical and IT skills, particularly database management and Microsoft Office
* Able to use own initiative and decisiveness, possession of a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
* Knowledge of the legal requirements of operating a warehouse
* Full UK driving license
* Forklift Licence for counterbalance truck.
* Live within commutable distance to Colnbrook
* Salary £32-£35k gross per annum depending on experience
