We are looking for an experienced Content Manager to be responsible for creating, managing, and executing dynamic and engaging content strategies that elevate the brand presence of our F1 team across various media platforms. They will contribute to building a strong narrative around the team, fostering fan engagement, and driving awareness through innovative content tailored to our audience. The role also focuses on commercial partner content, managing ideation, delivery, production and distribution of partners’ content. From moving image production to editorial content conceptualization and delivery, you will create content that engages fans of both VCARB and our partners – resulting in a simultaneous win for all brands.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Senior Content Manager to shape and execute a best-in-class content strategy that supports the goals of the wider marketing department. Proactively identify new content opportunities for our partners, enabling them to tell their stories across their and our channels.
* Lead on assigned content projects from concept through to delivery, working closely with production partners and freelancers to ensure content meets the needs of the Content & Social Team, Fan Engagement, and broader Communications & Brand Team.
* Focus on longer-form content for channels such as YouTube, in collaboration with the Digital team on the programming for the year and development of content strands.
* Be the content champion for the team – owning and sharing learnings and best practices across all account managers and partners.
* Manage relationships with contracted production companies and editorial freelancers, ensuring content quality and administration of key contracts is maintained.
* Ensure content is planned, ingested, and logged within relevant systems to aid amplification and impact across the brand.
* Understand the VCARB brand, positioning, and tone of voice; help partners understand how “being more RedBull” can enhance content impact.
* Brief production teams and project leads to ensure content is delivered in line with channel best practices.
* Distribute content across the Team and the VCARB / RedBull Media network to enhance reach and engagement.
* Contribute to archive and technical discussions to ensure content is backed up and easily accessible, and help identify efficiencies in content access and archiving.
* Travel up to 40-50% of the time.
Qualifications & Skills
* Demonstrable understanding of key content trends and success metrics.
* A keen understanding of branding and marketing strategies specific to F1, ensuring content aligns with the team’s identity and values, with awareness of trending visual styles in motorsports.
* Experience in developing content that fosters community building and fan engagement across digital platforms.
* Familiarity with content management and planning tools.
* Ability to integrate content strategies with broader marketing and communication goals, aligned with brand growth and visibility objectives.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and timely delivery under pressure.
* Ability to adapt quickly to events during race weekends, producing timely content while managing PR challenges.
* Team player, collaborative, independent-minded, creative, and innovative with a willingness to take managed risks.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
* Genuine interest in sports and youth brand landscape; experience or interest in creative avenues such as music, photography, and videography is a bonus.
* Willingness to travel (40-50%).
