Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ventilation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various sites. Responsibilities
* Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in commercial and industrial settings
* Diagnose faults using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
* Lead maintenance operations, ensuring safety standards are adhered to during all activities
* Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate
* Perform system upgrades and modifications as required to improve efficiency and performance
* Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or refurbishments
* Maintain detailed records of work performed, including repairs, replacements, and system modifications
* Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members when necessary
Qualifications
* CSCS
* Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair
* Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and components
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately
* Leadership qualities with experience supervising or mentoring team members preferred
* Skills in equipment repair with a focus on air conditioning units
* Knowledge of construction processes related to HVAC installation projects
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC or mechanical engineering are advantageous
