Essential Personnel are excited to be working with a forward-thinking company who are based in the centre of Stockport. Due to consistent growth, they are looking for an experienced Claims Handler to join their team.
In this role you will be tasked with validating, investigating and progressing compensation claims where individuals have been the victim of fraud. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a great working environment but also values being independent and trusted in their role.
The position is a hybrid once relevant training has been completed.
Main Responsibilities:
* Answer new client enquiries and responding to incoming leads
* Accurate and detailed recording of relevant details relating to any claim
* Providing a detailed assessment of all details provided
* Drafting and submitting complaints to relevant banks
* Negotiating and finalising settlements
* Submitting claims to Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS)
Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 09.30 to 6pm, and an early finish at 4pm each Friday. There is overtime available on Saturdays if required/wanted.
Required Skills:
* Have previous experience of being in a Claims Handling role
* Previous experience of using Proclaim
* Have excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines
* Be a driven individual with a focus on success
