We're seeking a hands-on Battery Scientist to support the development and production of next-generation cells. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in chemistry or materials science and practical experience in film deposition techniques. You'll be working at the intersection of research and manufacturing, contributing to innovative energy storage solutions. The Battery Scientist will: Assist in producing G2n layers using screen printing, spray coating, or other manufacturing methods. Support the development of cell constituents, including slurry and ink preparation and optimisation. Conduct quality control processes, particularly within cleanroom environments. Contribute to the development of new materials for next-generation cells. Maintain stock levels and monitor lab equipment for operational efficiency. Develop expertise in ceramic coatings on G2 cells. The Battery Scientist will: Master's degree in chemistry, materials science, or related engineering discipline. Experience in slurry/ink manufacturing and deposition techniques. Familiarity with screen printing, spray coating, and lab QC processes. Strong attention to detail and a proactive, tenacious approach. Understanding of battery or fuel cell technologies (theoretical or practical).
