HR and Data Protection Administrator – Kings Norton Girls School, Sixth Form
KNGS is an OFSTED outstanding school and a founding member of the West Midlands Multi Academy Trust (WMAT). The school has a comprehensive intake and a co‑educational sixth form. We achieve excellent academic and pastoral outcomes for students within a culture of care, concern and well‑being for both students and staff.
The post is available as a permanent, full‑time, term‑time‑only position (plus two weeks basis) working 37 hours per week. It is available immediately.
Responsibilities
* Proactively support HR and data management to ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR and KNGS policies and procedures.
* Support whole‑school administration and organise events.
* Serve on the First Aid rota (training provided).
* Maintain confidential information and work independently or as part of a team.
* Use IT systems, including Microsoft Office and preferably SIMS or HR/payroll databases.
* Maintain a discreet and professional approach, upholding safeguarding, data protection and high‑quality support across the school and Trust.
Qualifications
* Strong track record working within administration, preferably in a school or public sector setting (not essential).
* Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
* Ability to manage a varied workload efficiently.
* Experience handling confidential information.
* Comfortable with IT systems, including Microsoft Office and preferably SIMS or HR/payroll databases.

Other Requirements
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent, spoken English is an essential requirement.
The appointment involves working with children and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Applicants must declare any convictions or cautions that are not protected. A DBS check at enhanced level is required.
