HGV Class 2 Driver – Rugby, Warwickshire People Solutions are looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Rugby, Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and room to grow and progress. Shifts • Monday to Friday – Start times: 05:00–06:00 • Sunday to Thursday – Start times: 18:00–19:00 Rates of Pay • Days (06:00–22:00): £18.54 per hour • Nights (22:00–06:00): £21.43 per hour • Overtime (42 hours): £26.54 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Training provided • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Multi-drop delivery of cages to hospitals • Loading and unloading of roller cages • Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs • Ensuring all loads are safe and secure Essential Skills • Valid UK Category C / Class 2 licence • Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience • No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only) • Valid UK CPC and Digi cards • Good spoken and written English Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support Apply Text LORRY to 88440 and we'll give you a call.
