We are working with a tier-one main contractor, with a turnover exceeding £1 billion, to recruit a
Senior Health & Safety Manager for a high-profile data centre project in Saunderton, Buckinghamshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business at the forefront of large-scale industrial and data centre construction, where safety and innovation are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and enforce robust health and safety procedures across a complex, high-value site
* Lead site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and best practice
* Deliver engaging inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings to site personnel
* Support incident investigations and prepare detailed health and safety reports
* Champion a positive health and safety culture, engaging all stakeholders and subcontractors
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager working for a main contractor (essential)
* Strong knowledge of UK construction site practices, CDM regulations, and data centre environments
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
* IOSH membership (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
Package:
* £75,000 – £85,000 base salary (dependent on experience)
* 12% car allowance
