What you will do
* Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred and holistic occupational therapy interventions to individuals within the PICU.
* Ensure all care provided is inclusive, trauma‑informed, and responsive to individuals’ unique cultural, social, and occupational needs.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
* Assess and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist
* Hold a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Possess recent UK and NHS experience working as an Occupational Therapist, particularly within mental health services.
* Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
