Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company is seeking a Supply Planner to join their team in Burton Upon Trent, GB.

Job Title: Supply Planner
Location: Burton
Job Length: 12 Month FTC – Full Time
Monday - Friday 8am – 4:30pm shifts, flexibility is available

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK, with iconic brands including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, and Brooklyn.
Role Responsibilities:
* Convert the consensus demand plan into a realistic and achievable rolling 12-week production plan.
* Monitor availability versus actual demand and proactively alert and react to potential out-of-stocks.
* Coordinate brewing requirements based on the production plan and liaise with the brewing, processing, and tanker management teams.
* Monitor forecast inputs and react to variances in a timely fashion, adjusting supply plans as appropriate.
* Monitor and report on stock levels at key sites, align stockholding to the demand plan, and alert slow-moving items or opportunities to move goods to clearance ahead of short date problems.
* Act as the central point of liaison between production cells, material supply, brewing, and logistics for all own-produced products.
* Actively generate cost savings through a combination of leaner inventory, economic ordering, and reduced waste.
* Attend daily production meetings and weekly planning meetings.
* Proactively monitor and maintain system master data such as BOM’s, MRP data, and APO planning parameters.
Experience and Key Attributes:
* Previous experience in a similar role in a food, FMCG, or pharmaceutical environment.
* Significant technical SAP experience.
* Ability to stay focused under pressure, manage time, and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Relevant IT skills – Word, advanced Excel, Power Point.
* Strong analytical and numeracy skills with a high attention to detail.
* Ability to think strategically and successfully negotiate with partners and teams.
* Passion for delivering results, taking personal responsibility, and accomplishing challenging objectives.
* Strong team ethic and experience working within a team atmosphere.
