We require experienced Domestic Heating Engineers to support the delivery of domestic heating works within Building Services. You will have a flexible approach to the day-to-day operations of the Domestic Heating Section within South Lanarkshire Council.
You will be time-served with trade qualifications relevant to your discipline and demonstrate sound practical technical competencies in managing and delivering jobs. Sound knowledge and experience within the domestic gas industry, including repair and maintenance of H.E. Boilers, are essential.
A prerequisite for this role is possession of current domestic gas qualifications with at least 1 year remaining. The preferred qualifications are CCN1/HTR1/WAT1/MET1/CKR1/CEN1/CPA1.
You should demonstrate a commitment to customer care principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and previous experience working to targets and deadlines, with an awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
