We are seeking a forward thinking, data driven SEO Manager to lead our organic growth strategy in an era shaped by AI powered search and Large Language Models. This role goes beyond traditional SEO, you will optimise not only for search engines, but also for AI generated answers, conversational search, and generative discovery platforms.
The ideal candidate understands how AI systems from organisations like OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic influence search visibility, content surfacing, and brand discoverability.
Job Description
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
* Act as the central SEO authority across marketing, content, product, and leadership teams.
* Translate complex SEO and AI concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
* Collaborate with Data, Growth, and Divisional teams to align organic strategy with broader business objectives.
* Educate internal teams on evolving search trends, including AI-powered search experiences.
* Manage and mentor SEO specialists, content strategists, or external agencies to ensure high performance and accountability.
* Develop executive ready reporting that connects SEO and AI visibility metrics to revenue, pipeline, and long-term brand equity.
Traditional & Technical SEO
* Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies (technical, on-page and off-page).
* Conduct keyword, entity, and semantic research aligned with search intent.
* Optimise site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and structured data.
* Perform technical audits and manage implementation of fixes.
* Optimise content for AI generated search results and conversational interfaces.
* Develop strategies for visibility within AI answer engines and generative summaries.
* Structure content for machine readability (schema, entity optimisation, knowledge graph alignment).
* Identify opportunities to improve brand mentions and citations in AI generated responses.
* Monitor shifts in search behaviour due to generative AI and adapt strategy accordingly.
Analytics & Performance
* Track organic traffic, rankings, AI referral patterns, and conversion performance.
* Analyse SERP changes including AI Overviews, featured snippets, and zero-click results.
* Build dashboards and reports translating SEO and AI visibility into business impact.
Content & Authority Strategy
* Partner with divisional marketing teams to create high authority, experience driven content (E-E-A-T focused).
* Implement topical authority frameworks and entity based content clusters.
* Guide digital PR and strategies that strengthen domain authority and AI trust signals.
Qualifications
* 4 to 7+ years of SEO experience with measurable growth results.
* Strong understanding of semantic search, search intent modelling, and entity-based optimisation.
* Familiarity with how LLMs retrieve, summarise, and cite information.
* Experience adapting SEO strategy to algorithm and AI-driven changes.
* Proficiency with analytics platforms, SEO tools, and structured data implementation.
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms.
* Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into strategy.
