Role Role & Responsibilities As a Support Worker, you will be instrumental in delivering essential support for bespoke care packages. You'll work with young people facing crisis, trauma, or complex needs, playing a vital role in supporting families within their homes and communities. This role offers significant flexibility with various shift patterns, including shorter days, long days, and waking nights, and requires a commitment to safeguarding protocols while supporting individuals with challenging behaviors. Provide essential support for bespoke care packages for young people and families. Support individuals experiencing crisis, trauma, or with complex needs. Work within families' homes and communities. Adapt to a variety of shift patterns, including shorter days, long days, and waking nights. Support individuals with challenging behaviours. Ensure safeguarding protocols are always maintained. Experience supporting children, young people, and families. Comfortable supporting individuals with challenging behaviours. Good understanding of safeguarding protocols. Adaptable and comfortable working with a diverse range of young people and families with varying needs. Willingness to travel around the Cambridgeshire area. A relevant childcare or social work qualification is desirable. Experience in behaviour support and child protection is preferred.
