About the role You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of access, lifting and powered equipment. The role is split between workshop-based work and mobile/site support, keeping equipment safe, compliant and ready for use. This is a practical, hands-on Plant Fitter position suited to someone who enjoys fault-finding, varied equipment and working without unnecessary pressure. Key responsibilities * Service, maintain and repair access and lifting equipment * Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults * Work on lifts, hoists, winches and powered access systems * Maintain rope hoists, motors and man-handleable equipment up to 2 tonne * Attend site breakdowns when required * Carry out inspections and safety checks * Keep maintenance records up to date * Work to health & safety standards Experience required * Proven experience * Strong mechanical fault-finding skills * Electrical experience beneficial * Background in construction, access, lifting or powered equipment * Full UK driving licence Salary & package * £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary * Overtime paid at x1.5 and x2 * Company van and tools provided * Workshop and mobile-based role * Full-time, permanent position * Immediate start available
