Marketing Manager, full-time Location : UK (Remote) -some travel required
Employment Type and Hours : Employed, full-time, 37.Salary : Full time basic salary £40,000 (dependent on experience) per annum plus performance-related bonus
Reports To : CEO and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Founded and led by a registered dietitian, HRS Communications are a full-service, UK-based food and nutrition communications agency. We are a diverse team, highly skilled and qualified in food and nutrition, marketing and communications.

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing the marketing plan and overseeing the implementation of the marketing activities for HRS Communications. Reporting to the CEO and CMO, you will be responsible for ensuring the marketing plan is delivered on time, on budget and meets agreed KPIs. You will be responsible for campaign delivery, analysing and reporting marketing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to effectively promote our services and enhance brand visibility.
Marketing Strategy:
· Support with development of the marketing strategy
· Conduct market research, and provide industry insights and trend analysis to inform the marketing strategy

Marketing Planning:
· Develop a marketing plan of activity
· Develop a content strategy and calendar of activity
· Lead the marketing budget management, tracking and reporting
· Manage all marketing data (including CRM)
· Set and review key marketing KPIs

Marketing Delivery:
· Manage performance of external agencies against agreed KPIs, including website, SEO and graphic design agencies which deliver against the company’s agreed marketing goals. Hold those third-party suppliers to account on delivery and take early corrective action as required to meet targets
· Lead and support the Marketing Exec to manage HRS’ social media platforms, create compelling content for blogs, websites, email campaigns and newsletters as well as promotional materials
· Coordinate marketing events, including webinars, trade shows and conferences to showcase company offerings
· Help develop and maintain the HRS brand across all communications channels, ensuring alignment and consistency in messaging and branding
Marketing Analysis:
· Responsible for performance monitoring and reporting
· Lead from the front with new ideas and creative marketing recommendations
Lead and mentor junior members of the marketing team, providing guidance and support. Collaborate with other teams including medical writing, design, and account management to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
Attend monthly management meetings to provide updates on marketing activities, discuss campaign results, share insights, and help inform agency-wide strategic planning.
3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the health, wellness, or nutrition industry.
· Proven track record of managing and executing successful marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, content, etc.).
· Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.), SEO, email marketing, and social media strategies.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex nutrition information into engaging content.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for exploring new ideas and approaches.
· You should have a good understanding of business software, including:
· Office 365
· CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, SalesForce)
· Graphic design software (e.g., Canva, InDesign, Photoshop)
· Scheduling software (e.g., Project management software (e.g., Website platforms (e.g., Wordpress)

A background in nutrition, dietetics, or related fields is a plus.
