Responsibilities
* Writing and checking medical diet menus for different allergies, intolerances, and medical conditions
* Supporting and mentoring key contracts in the South
* Regular communication with parents, schools, catering teams and medical professionals
* Completing medical diet audits across our schools
* Delivering training workshops to catering teams
* Reporting any incidents & working with HSE to investigate
* Being highly visible on the ground to support our colleagues
* Involvement in key projects and delivery of these projects across the business
* Being a key representative of the medical diets team to operators, clients and schools
Person Specification
* Must have degree (BSc) in Nutrition or other relevant degree
* Experience in working with people with allergies and intolerances is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
* Experience using nutritional analysis system such as Saffron (or equivalent) desirable but not essential as full training provided
* Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
* Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt communication to a range of stakeholders including clients, parents, and pupils
* Excellent organisation skills with ability to manage a busy inbox and a high volume of workload
* Confident in communicating to large groups of people and controlling challenging meetings/conversations
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent attention to detail
* Demonstrates can do attitude
* Passion for keeping up to date with latest nutrition research and legislation
* Must be willing to travel and stay away from home occasionally
