Deputy Manager, up to 37k including sleeps, Cannock. Chase Recruitment are working with an established children's residential provider to recruit a Deputy Manager to join their team in Cannock. This role does include shifts and sleeps so you must be flexible to work this pattern. What's on offer? Salary up to 36k including sleeps £70 per sleep Time and a third for overtime £1000 joining bonus paid to anyone coming on board to be paid after one year's service. Supportive working environment Support to those wanting to progress and complete qualifications A successful Deputy Manager must have: Must have a full manual driving licence Must be fully flexible and have the ability to work unsociable shift patterns Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent The desire to develop into a Registered Childrens Home Manager The duties of the Deputy Manager include: To lead the team to deliver high quality care to our young people To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures To communicate effectively with the team regarding the plans for the day To review the young people's care plans and other associated documentation To undertake an in-depth quality and bespoke training package To attend/chair staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model To act as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positive parenting model To work with young people using positive support strategies including de-escalation tools and techniques using in-house training (PRICE) To provide support to the Manager in order to complete day to day tasks To run the home in the absence of the Manage To complete on-call duties as and when required This is a full-time opportunity for a Deputy Manager.
