Job Description
One of the UK's leading apprenticeship providers and part of LTE Group has an exciting opportunity for a Stakeholder Engagement Manager within our Adult Skills team. This is a permanent, full‑time role (37 hours per week). The successful candidate will support unemployed individuals into sustainable employment through skills development and training opportunities.
In this role you will build and manage relationships with key partners including DWP, local authorities, Jobcentre Plus, employers and prospective learners. You will provide guidance from initial engagement through to enrolment on a range of work‑based and classroom learning programmes, maximising the use of Adult Skills Funding.
You will proactively identify recruitment needs, develop tailored solutions from Total People's programme offer, manage a portfolio of stakeholders and employer opportunities across Greater Manchester and gather market intelligence to support continuous improvement of our services.
Success in this fast‑paced role requires strong organisation, independence, a learner‑focused approach and a solid understanding of the Adult Skills Fund.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of stakeholders for learner referrals and employers with job opportunities within Greater Manchester for our Adult Skills Funding.
* Work closely with employers and stakeholders to identify opportunities that enable learners to become economically active citizens within the GMCA area and support the local agenda to get local people into local jobs.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Educated to degree level or above, or experience in a similar role.
* Proven recent sales experience demonstrated in a skills environment, ideally from within the private training/education sector.
* Proven recent experience in the skills sector, including closing, prospecting, planning, selling to customer needs, territory and account management, market knowledge, meeting targets.
* Highly professional and able to maintain appropriate confidentiality.
Job Specific Skills
* Achieve KPI’s set by the Adult Skills Operations Manager around minimum call targets and prioritise focus on appropriate sectors or corporate business when required.
* Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities including participation in agreed promotional events; plan diary to make effective use of the working day.
* Operate the business to the highest standards with a professional ethos in line with the Mission, Vision and Values of Total People and LTE Group.
* Demonstrate effective team working by contributing to, and promoting, a collaborative and supportive culture within your own team and across Total People; build and sustain positive working relations with colleagues and other stakeholders; pass on new information to relevant stakeholders and colleagues promoting a sharing team‑working environment.
* Contribute to the Sales & Marketing Strategy.
* Work flexibly as required, including, where necessary, at any Total People or group site, or on external premises, and carry out other duties as may be required by the business from time to time.
