Lordswood Boys' School is seeking a Teacher of Computer Science or Head of Department of Computer Science, for the right candidate, who is ready to make a real difference. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher aspiring to be Head of Department, a current Head of Department of an ECT who is keen to support the learners at Lordswood Boys' through an exciting Computer Science curriculum. The ability to teach Business Studies, whilst not essential would be welcomed.

Your Role – What You'll Be Doing

As a Teacher / Head of Computer Science, you will:

* Teach Computer Science at KS3 and KS4
* Design and deliver engaging future-focused lessons that develop coding, problem-solving, digital literacy skills and e-safety.
* Lead curriculum development, assessment design and a departmental strategy.
* Use assessment to inform planning, support progression, and stretch every learner
* Collaborate with faculty colleagues to develop high-quality curriculum resources
* Drive enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities (e.g. coding clubs, esports, robotics)
* (For leadership potential) Contribute to curriculum development, lead departmental initiatives, or mentor ECTs
