This post is located at Aldershot Combined Medical Practice, Aldershot Centre for Health, Hospital Hill, Aldershot, Hants. The post holder may be required to work across both sites of the Combined Practice (Aldershot Medical Facility and Minley Medical Facility).
This is a part‑time, permanent position consisting of 14 hours a week.

Main Duties
The post holder will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team within the Combined Practice to provide primary and occupational healthcare in line with General Medical Council (GMC) Standards, Defence Medical Command (D Med C) policies and single‑service requirements, to optimise patient care.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide primary healthcare to all registered patients during normal practice hours.
* Maximise the levels of health, wellbeing and employability of Service personnel to meet the needs of the single services.
* Undertake mandatory medical examinations and provide appropriate occupational healthcare and advice, and supporting administrative duties.
* Provide appropriate occupational and preventative medical advice to individuals and Chain of Command.
* Supervise the management of communicable diseases, including monitoring and reporting through single‑service chains.
* Provide primary‑care emergency treatment to any patient who may require this within the establishment.
Qualifications
* Registration with the United Kingdom (UK) General Medical Council (GMC), and on the General Practitioner (GP) Register.
* Current licence to practice.
* Membership registration with the relevant professional body as detailed in the advert.

Salary
£91,535 to £108,743 a year pro rata (pay award pending).
