Overview
Bridge Education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to join a well‑maintained school site in Preston, supporting the day‑to‑day running of the premises.
This is a full‑time, long‑term position, responsible for ensuring the school environment is safe, secure and well‑presented for pupils, staff and visitors.
The school takes pride in maintaining high site standards, with a strong focus on health and safety, security and compliance, making it an excellent opportunity for a Caretaker or Site Manager looking for a stable role in a school setting.
Hours
* Monday to Friday 12pm – 6pm (8am – 4pm in the summer)
* Monday to Friday 5:30am – 11:30am

Role Requirements
* Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
* Basic DIY and maintenance skills
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Ability to work independently and manage workload
* Reliable and proactive approachGood communication skills
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
Responsibilities
* Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
* Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises
* Conduct regular health and safety checks
* Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas
* Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
* Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school site
