Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Head Chef to join our team at Dishforth Airfield, Thirsk.
You will be responsible for the kitchen operation, cost efficiency, and production of innovative, quality food/menus in line with budgets to improve sales.

Eligibility requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years, have the legal right to work in the UK, and be able to pass security vetting and DBS checks. Reliable transport is required due to the location and limited public transport.

A day in the life of a Head Chef:
1. Training and leading culinary staff, ensuring quality and standard methodology in food production.
2. Identifying training needs and conducting relevant training sessions.
3. Implementing new policies, maintaining staff records, and being computer literate.
4. Developing innovative, cost-effective solutions.
5. Building client and customer relationships, communicating regional culinary trends.
6. Empowering the team to deliver excellent customer service, investigating concerns, and taking corrective actions.
7. Ensuring compliance with operational standards, managing waste, recipes, ingredients, and supply chain processes.
You will be set up for success if you have:
1. NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills.
2. Clean Enhanced DBS.
3. Experience in an educational environment.
4. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
5. Lived in the UK for the past 3 years with the right to work and pass security checks.
