Position: Receptionist/Front Desk Assistant
The right candidate will need to be a bright and welcoming character to act as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and potential clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Greeting all visitors promptly, completing all related security procedures, and offering all appropriate services to ensure guests have a pleasant visit.
2. Monitoring and responding to the information inbox and liaising with colleagues to ensure replies are sent in a timely manner.
3. Assisting with the collation and circulation of brochures, publications, marketing materials, and event-related items.
4. Managing incoming deliveries of mail and supplies and arranging collection by traders and staff.
5. Taking messages, directing calls, and providing information in a warm and confident manner.
6. Escorting guests to appropriate meeting rooms when requested.
7. Providing support to other departments with tasks such as post, photocopying, document collation, typing, laminating, booking meeting rooms, and providing refreshments.
Person Specification
1. Experience in a busy customer-focused service role is beneficial.
2. Good basic education with GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
3. Courteous telephone manner and prompt email response skills.
4. Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and use initiative.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The suitable candidate should be presentable, have excellent people skills, and be friendly and polite.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00am to 4:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
Friday: 08:00am to 4:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
