Are you an experienced administrator who enjoys working with students and other professionals in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment? We have an exciting opportunity to join us as Postgraduate Support Officer for an open-ended contract with the Faculty of Engineering where you can develop your skills, engage with a diverse range of services and significantly impact the progress of our PGRs. You will be working with a newly formed dedicated team across the faculty, assisting academics and other professional services staff to support postgraduate researchers through their doctoral studies, ensuring that they have the best possible university experience. Education to A Level is expected; you will have strong organisational skills and be able to work collaboratively and flexibly. As you will be tasked with overseeing interaction across two schools, a background in a higher education setting could be advantageous.
Responsibilities
* Assist academics and professional services staff to support postgraduate researchers through their doctoral studies.
* Coordinate activities and interactions across two schools to ensure a positive and productive PGR experience.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of postgraduate support services within the Faculty of Engineering.
Qualifications
* Educated to A Level or equivalent.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively and flexibly.
* Experience in a higher education setting is advantageous.
