The Role
* This job involves working at a bench as part of a small team to assemble high-quality instruments from kits of parts.
* Responsible for all aspects of the instrument build, including final inspection and testing upon completion.
* Repair of products and occasional installation of customer-owned instruments both in-house and at customer sites.
* Testing and calibration of the finished products.
* Carry out other reasonable tasks as required by management.
The Candidate
* Experience in electro-mechanical assembly of complex engineering equipment.
* Test experience is highly beneficial.
* Good fault-finding skills using circuit diagrams.
* Hands-on mechanical assembly of precision-engineered parts.
* Strong communication skills.
The Package
Up to £30,000 plus benefits.
