It’s for someone hands on, organised and proactive who enjoys getting stuck in and helping bring structure to a growing business.</p><p>There’s a lot happening across inventory allocation, AP/AR workflows, invoice processing, stock reporting and operational finance support. At the moment, quite a lot of manual work still sits inside the process, so they need someone who is happy rolling their sleeves up and helping improve the day-to-day finance operation.</p><p>You’ll work closely with both finance and operations, supporting transactional accounting, finance administration and reporting across the business.</p><p>The environment is fast moving, collaborative and very SME in feel. Good people, growing business and plenty of exposure.</p><h3>The Role</h3><p>This is a broad Assistant Accountant role supporting the wider finance function during a busy growth period.</p><h3>You’ll be involved across:</h3><ul><li>Purchase ledger and invoice processing</li><li>AP and AR support</li><li>Inventory and stock reporting</li><li>Consignment stock tracking</li><li>Matching inventory costs and sales activity</li><li>Finance admin and operational support</li><li>Supporting month-end processes</li><li>Maintaining reporting accuracy across the finance function</li><li>Helping improve finance processes and workflows</li><li>Supporting wider systems and ERP improvement projects where needed</li></ul><p>A big part of the role is helping the business create more structure and visibility as operational complexity continues to grow.</p><h3>What They’re Looking For</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or transactional finance role</li><li>Comfortable working across AP, AR and finance operations</li><li>Strong attention to detailSomeone hands on and proactive</li><li>Comfortable in fast moving SME environments</li><li>Organised and adaptable</li><li>Experience in inventory, stock or product-led businesses would be beneficial</li><li>Exposure to ERP systems or process improvement work would also help</li></ul><h3>The Bits People Care About</h3><ul><li>6 month FTC</li><li>Hybrid working - London</li><li>Growing healthcare/pharma business</li><li>Broad hands-on role with real exposure</li><li>Collaborative team and good culture</li><li>Opportunity to help improve processes inside a scaling business</li></ul></div>
