Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented apprentice heat pump Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing heat pumps, running ducting and assisting senior Engineers in accordance with company standards and client specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a supportive environment, contributing to the successful completion of projects. The Installer will work closely with other Engineers and project managers to ensure installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Duties
* Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
* Prepare work sites by organising tools, materials, and equipment needed for each project.
* Install products, systems, or equipment accurately according to specifications and safety standards.
* Conduct quality checks during and after installation to ensure compliance with client expectations and industry regulations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process promptly.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
* Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding project progress or any challenges encountered.
* Complete all necessary documentation related to installations for record-keeping purposes.
Experience
* Experience in installation work within the industry would be helpful but not essential.
* Familiarity with reading technical drawings and schematics is advantageous.
* Ability to operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving on-site issues.
* Valid clean UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months is essential.
