Mobile Gas Engineer
Contract: Key Account Network. Location: Grantham, NG31 6SY – mobile role. Hours of work: 41.25. Contract type: Permanent.
We are seeking a Mobile Gas Engineer to deliver commercial gas, heating, combustion and general building services maintenance across a varied portfolio of client properties. This role focuses on ensuring gas and HVAC systems operate safely, compliantly and to a high standard, while also supporting wider building maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas and heating systems
* Diagnose faults, complete repairs and undertake new installations
* Perform basic electrical fault finding on systems and plant
* Maintain plant rooms to ensure safety, compliance and performance standards
* Deliver commercial combustion, heating and HVAC-biased PPM and reactive works within agreed timeframes
* Complete documentation, compliance records and adhere to strict Health & Safety procedures
* Liaise with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
* Manage contractors and issue permits to work
Additional Duties
* Provide callout response as part of a 1-in-8 rota (£150 per callout)
* Undertake wider building services maintenance including fabric, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical tasks
* Maintain cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Commercial Gas Qualifications including:
o COCN1 or CODNC1
o TPCP1A
o ICPN1
o CORT1
o CIGA1
* Proven experience in commercial gas, combustion and heating maintenance, fault finding and installation
* Previous experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance
* Experience working within FM or building services environments across commercial properties
* Full UK driving licence (essential due to mobile nature of the role)
